The route connecting Rif. Capanna Trieste (1,135 m) to Rifugio Vazzoler (1,714 m) follows trail 555, winding along a silvo-pastoral path for approximately 4 km and a elevation gain of 600 m, accessible exclusively by foot. 

Rif. Capanna Trieste is reachable by car, and there is ample parking available.

THE CIVETTA CIRCUIT

The captivating Civetta Circuit, spread over two days, promises an unforgettable experience amidst the majestic Dolomites. The journey begins from Palafavera, a starting point nestled at the foot of Mount Civetta with ample parking. The route unfolds through breathtaking landscapes, offering an immersive and unforgettable experience. 

IL MONT'AUT DI PELSA

Mont'Aut di Pelsa (2,417 m) is a peak in the Civetta group. The hike starts from Rifugio Vazzoler (1,714 m). As you ascend, the panorama becomes increasingly breathtaking, offering views of the Pale di San Martino, the Trentino Dolomites, and the Ampezzo Dolomites. Upon reaching the summit of Mont'Aut di Pelsa, the view is simply unforgettable. 

TO THE PELSA HUTS

The trail from Rifugio Vazzoler to the Pelsa Alpine Huts is an easy difficulty hike that allows you to admire the beauty of the Dolomites in the Agordo area. The route starts from Rifugio Vazzoler and gradually ascends along a comfortable dirt road.  

The path is approximately 2 km, with an elevation gain of about 150 meters. The ascent is gradual and does not present any particular difficulties. 

Bivouac Tomé

Due to glacier melting, the route has become extremely dangerous and challenging to follow. In particular, an exposed section halfway, without protection and on very slippery gravel, makes the hike not advisable unless for highly experienced hikers.
